Time to wrap up. (letter to donors)

After running through the streets of San Francisco to support the Italian Cancer  League (LILT) and raising 2.000€, THANKS TO ALL  OF YOU, I'm back in Bologna.

 The fundraising campaign is over. Time to wrap up.

 Here are our “magic numbers”:

 Donations received: 54

 Funds raised online: 2.000€

 Funds raised through wire transfer: 270 €

 Total raised: 2.270€

 Expenses to LILT (Usage of Rete del dono platform): 122,00€

 Net income from the campaign: 2.148€

As mentioned in previous  emails, LILT has already made contact with SOS Donna,  a nonprofit organization working to help women most in need,  who need support for several reasons. LILT and SOS  Donna are planning to hold Checkups Days which will  provide free clinical exams to at least 60 women.

LILT   is also in contact with several community centers to ensure  free access   to early diagnosis programs for the elderly. Thanks to your  generous support, besides covering the cost of 60 clinical exams, the  money  raised will cover at least 20 hemoccult tests.

It has been an amazing experience for me! Receiving so much  support from…all over the world has been awesome. Unforgettable!
